SETUP STRATEGYS Vs. Deathknight & Druid This fight you need to build up alot of presure. Run Dots on All 3 targets (Dk, druid and pet)
Start off building up dots on the dk and hes pet, this will force the druid out from the LOS to heal boft at this point you can use Focus fear (target DK but casts fear on druid) and fear the druid out. After druid is out fully dot him up.
Theres two ways to win this fight.
Killing the Deathknight. After a while keeping the presure up the deathknight will start going down to 40-60% due druid is trying to keep up all 3 targets. If you get the the deathknight this low try to get fear on the druid and have your shaman purge off the healing over time effects from the deathknight and finnish him off. This reguires that the Deathknight pet is dead and that he has Magic shield on CD
Outlasting: (Check: Druid not going oom? ) Keep the presure up on all targets and keep running manadrains on the druid while fearing the Deathknight. This lowers their presure alot and druid will in the end run out of mana. Be prepared for innervate when druid is around 5-10% mana, if you can get it purged off it speeds up the game alot. How ever if you cant get it off no worries, just get him oom again After druid is oom be sure you have dots on boft druid and deathknight since even at 1-5% mana druid can keep him self up quite well or hes friend, but not two targets.
Also dispell strangulates from your shaman and keep the Deathknight off him by fears if he butting out large amounts of presure.
Vs Deathknight & Paladin(Holy) Here start off again dotting up all targets, this time we are going to focus on the healer. burn out the deathknights lichborn, after its out fear him off, switch full presure on the paladin. Boft you and your shaman DPS him if possible. Now you want to organize your interrupts.
1st Heal: Shock 2nd Heal: Silence 3rd Heal: Shock and so on (If you fast you can also trow fear between the heal casts just to stop them) If the paladin uses auramastery stop him with Hex or deathcoil. At this point the paladin will most likely bubble since hes deathknight is starting to run low on health and hes also around 5-20%. Bubble up: Switch damage to Deathknight and hes pet, mainly presure deathknight. Keep eye on bubble, after bubble is out fear the deathknight off again and switch back to the paladin. Rinse and repeat the Shock&silence and score a kill.
You can also go for deathknight after bubble if it seems you can get the paladin down, fear paladin with Curse of tounges on him. Focus all damage on deathknight and keep the Fears up and running. Again here you can use the Shock&Silence between fears
Vs Deathknight & Shaman(Resto) This fight is little harder due the tremor totem.
To start off have you pet on passive here and use him to take down the tremor totems when going for fear. Here Start off full presure on all targets and look for openings to fear the shaman. After you have burned the deathknights Survival Cooldowns start going for fear lock down on the shaman and kill the deathknight. Its important you keep the Deathknight pet down here to stop him sacrifacing it and healing him self. I know he can summon new one fast and easyly but it helps, also removes the nasty stuns from pet.
You can also try to kill the shaman if your fear places him at the open and your free to open nuke on him, at this point boft you and shaman open DPS on the shaman. Use silences and deathcoils if Cooldowns ready to score the kill, since shaman die quite easyly when locked down and taking large amounts of damage, Even a short hex on him helps.
You can also find places for kill when presuring all 3 targets and forcing the shaman healing all of them, at this point one of the targets example shaman can drop low on health, if this happen call a switch on the shaman and finnish him off.
Druid(Resto)& Hunter This is quite easy fight if you keep your team safe from the hunters nukes.
Outlast (safe): Rush in and fear the hunter, Dot up the Pet and druid after dots up cast drain mana on druid. Keep running 3 fears on the hunter nothing els, just keep him out of the game. After he becomes imune to fears stack full dots on him and wait for Dimishing return to reset. After its resetted Fear him off again and focus the druid and pet. After Druid has used innervate and has gone oom stop the fear lock on hunter and Dot up all targets and finish some thing off. Most likely the hunter If the hunter goes for pet and hes imune to fears Keep you pet up with improved health funnel. This is if your shaman cant keep him up alone.
Aggressive (Fast): Rush in, Dot up the hunter and pet. Keep the dots up on them and try to get fears on the druid (use focus fear). after druid uses trinket reset the Dimishing return. When Dimishing return is resetted dot up the hunter again fear the druid and lock him down with 3 fears. Boft you and your shaman DPS the hunter and kill him. If the hunter dosent go down let the dimishing return reset again and go for kill Rinse and repear
Druid(resto) & Paladin(retri) Outlast(safe)
Right in the start run fear locks on the paladin, after he becomes imune to fears dot him up untill Dimishing return resets. Focus all your damage and drains on the druid and slowly oom him. After innervate is used and druid is oom dot up boft targets and finish them off. If paladin goes for pet and hes imune to fear Keep the pet up together with your shaman. Use improved health funnel to reduce the damage it takes by 30%
Aggressive(fast) Open all out damage on the paladin, fear the druid off. After trinket is used let the dimishing return reset, at this point you can fear the paladin off and switch damage on the druid to give your shaman a break. After dimishing returns have resetted open on the paladin again keep presure up on him. After you get fear on the druid you can force the paladin to bubble. Switch all damage to druid to keep you presure up. After Bubble is out and Dimishing return has resetted on the druid switch back to paladin and cc the druid. Finish off the paladin
Every Druid goes imune to Fears switch damage on him so you can keep your presure up
Druid(resto) & Warrior This is one of the hardest setups for you out there, and i have found only one good way to beat them. Tryed outlasting but seems almost impossible.
At start let the warrior come to you, if you can pull him Line of sight when charges and Fully dot him and build presure on him. At this point the druid should be headed your way. When druid gets in LOS with the warrior instantly use your pet silence to stop any hots coming up. Now you want to get fear on him. If he seems to be too far or you dont think you can get fear on him before silence runs out use deathcoil to buy some time. After you get the druid feared Try taking the warrior down. Its also good to cast 2nd fear right after 1st due they will use their trinket quite fast at this point, if you do this theres good chanes the 2nd fear lands same time trinket is used or little after. If you cant finish off the warrior dont panic. Dot up the druid to build up some presure and wait for dimishing return to reset
After Dimishing return has resetted Try to pull off CC kill on the warrior again. Get a fear on the druid and take down the warrior. Notice you will need your shaman here to support with damage if possible.
Also dont forget banish, There are alot druids out there who stay in tree form no mather what.. Getting banish on him after imune to fears is a HUGE help
Pet: If the warrior switches on your pet use health funnel and shamans heals to keep it up, at this point the warrior will most of the time get back on you or your shaman. But you cant really afford to loose pet here. Silence is a big player in this fight
Dot up warrior 3 Fear CC on druid Deathcoil & silences on druid Kill the warrior If it fails reset and start again There is also small chanes you could kill the druid if he dosent have hots on him and you make a switch on him. Hardly ever managed to pull this off tho
NOTICE! This is really hard fight and this tactic is hard to pull off specially if the druid is good.
Druid(resto) & Rogue This is some what harder fight than Priest & rogue due it being so hard to oom the druid and cyclones. But then again controlling the rogue with fear is easyer since no dispell
Here you will have to presure boft targets much as possible, and silence/shock the cyclones.
If you want to go for mana-war 3x fear the rogue and go for druid, when rogue becomes imune to fear dot up the rogue and keep the presure up. After dimishing returns are over fear the rogue again and switch back to druid with dots + manadrain This fight takes some time and your shaman will have to drink alot but can be won like this
The faster way would be to burn rogues Defencive cooldowns crowd control the druid and kill the rogue. But its quite hard since the amount of hots the druid can get up instantly and amount of interrupts from the rogue.
Dots up on boft targets Rotate fears Silence cyclones Shock cyclones
Druid(resto) & Warlock (Affli) Again one of mana-wars out there. Same approach as vs any warlock & healer setup
Damage on Pet: This will often force the warlock defencive if the pet starts going low, he will start health funneling it and pulling it back. This reduces their over all damage done
Damage on Warlock: Long as the pet is up the chanes of affliction killing affliction lock is not that great but the damage warlock takes is also damage to pet. What means more presure on pet and makes it easyer to kill a pet.
All 3 target damage: This is just Pure presure, forcing them to heal more than you have to.
Keep dots up on all 3 targets in this fight and focus your CC mainly on warlock to cut down their damage. Have silences and Curse of tounges up on the warlock. Here you have to go hard on the druid with dots and manadrain try to oom him faster than your shaman is going oom. Also what is important that you stay in some kind of range to the druid so you can interrupt hes drinking.
Again you can try to pull of kill on the druid if he dosent have hots on him when you get him feared or purge the hots when hes in fear then open a full nuke on the druid. How ever here you will most likely need Silence + deathcoil to keep him down long enugh for kill
80% of the time this fight will end up one of the teams running out of mana and loosing due lack of heals.
Overall there isnt any special tricks for this fight Keep dots up on 3 targets all time Keep Pet up Kill their Pet Oom the Druid or Kill him
Hunter & Paladin(holy) Start the fight open with UA+Fear on the hunter, Dot up the paladin and pet After dots up open full presure on paladin use
1st Heal: Shock 2nd Heal: Silence 3rd Heal: Shock and so on At this point paladin will use either Aura mastery or bubble Auramastery you want to counter with Deathcoil or hex, this will force him to bubble Bubble switch on the hunter and open full presure on him, after bubble is over Focus fear the paladin and try to go for lock down kill If this fails switch back to paladin and fear the hunter. Try to pull off kill on the paladin, keep presure up untill Dimishing return has resetted on him. Dot up the hunter and fear the paladin after theres no more dots on him. This should be good place to take down the hunter.
If he dosent die switch again, rinse and repeat. (keep dots up on hunter pet untill its dead)
Mage & Priest Remember to dispell sheeps with your pet This is overall easy fight long as you can keep your shaman safe from the 2 man nuke. Tactics are simple stay safe and drain the priest oom. (UA fears on mage) Also dont the mage or the priest drink or eat. This way mage looses alot of hes damage due lack of mana. When priest uses Shadowfiend fear it off, also cast UA on it, If priest dispells it refear it. This way the priest wont get any mana from it. After priest is oom finish them off.
CC Mage Dot & Manadrain priest Fear Shadowfiend Keep your shaman safe Dispell Sheeps Win
Mage & Rogue This is Semi-hard fight specially if low geared, what rest mainly on the shoulders of the warlock. Hardest part of this fight is surviving the start nuke while one of you is sapped Place teleport and have your shaman stand over it. Get some distance between you and your shaman but stay in range with teleport, also leave the pet between you so its range dispell boft of you.
Most of the this setups open on your shaman and sap you. (Do not use trinket on sap) What you want to kill here is the Rogue Start by silencing the mages first frost bolt cast and fear the rogue off (2 fears if undead) Get Corruption, agony and your pet on the rogue Switch fear to Mage (2 fears if undead) and DPS the rogue. At this point the rogue will use CLOS most likely and restealth. After he reapears fear him offagain and silence the mage. [Keep Butting curse of tounges on mage, even tho he can remove it it slows him down] Now switch back to rogue and cc the mage. Keep rotating your fears here, try to keep one of them out of the fight much as possible, this way you can keep your shaman safe
This fight is mainly about taking out the enemy damage and slowly killing their rogue. Dont go to hardcore damage on the rogue and forget to CC the enemys.
Dots on rogue Silences on Frost bolts Dispells on sheeps Rotate fears between Rogue and mage Play Defencive The fight is about taking out their damage and slowly killing the rogue
If they sit on the warlock it should be little easyer since warlock has ways to escape the damage.
Paladin(holy) & Warlock(Affli) This fight are most of the time all about outlast, pet and presure. Who ever can build up the most damage will control the game.
All 3 target damage: This is just Pure presure, forcing them to heal more than you have to.
in start of the game you want to focus CC on the enemy Warlock, use your pet silences, curse of tongues and fears on the warlock mainly, this cuts out their damage and their crowd control. And the less crowd control from them the more time for you to deal damage and drain.
Also during the fight keep eyes on the enemy pets HP, if its going low you can try to pull it behind a pillar away from their healer and kill it. If you manage to kill the enemy pet 2 times your Shaman should stick on the Warlock with your pet after this not allowing him to cast long resummon, while you stick on the Paladin.
This days paladins are really hard to oom, but it can be done. How ever probaly best way to win this fight is killing the paladin after bubble is used with the shock & silence lockdown
1st Heal: Shock 2nd Heal: Silence 3rd Heal: Shock and so on
Also if you manage to kill their pet you can try fear controlling the paladin and killing the warlock. Without the soul link the warlock is good target to go for.
Overall there isnt any special tricks for this setup Keep dots up on 3 targets all time Keep Pet up Kill their Pet Oom the paladin or Kill him
Paladin(holy) & Warrior This is little easyer fight than druid & warrior due how easy its to lock down paladin after bubble is used. But still a really hard fight
Start the fight dotting up boft of the targets. Presure the warrior and fear paladin (dots on paladin) Try to force the paladin to bubble soon as possible. After bubble is used reset the fight if you can (most of the time you cant) After bubble has ran out pull the warrior away from paladin, dot up the warrior. Now either your shaman can try to hex the paladin or you fear him. After hex and fears have been used and warrior still isnt down use
1st Heal: Shock 2nd Heal: Silence 3rd Heal: Shock and so on
You can also use the shocks and silences between hex and fears Rinse and repeat untill warrior dead.
Theres also times when paladin goes low due dots on him while hes spam healing warrior. If this happens try a switch on him and kill him.
Control the paladin Keep pet up Kill the warrior
(disc)Priest & Rogue Here you have 2 ways to win outlast or nuking down the rogue, Outlast how ever requires quite good gear
Teleport: Use teleport here to kite the rogue with Curse of exhaustion to reduce their damage on you
Outlast: Rogue opens on you, get corruption and agony on him and start fake casting fear. after rogue uses kick cast unstable affliction on him followed by fear, if priest is in range at this point cast manadrain on him. If the rogue gets distance to you in fears i recoment chaning Curse of agony to curse of exhaustion every time. At this point you can either start kiting the rogue or fully dot him up before he gets back on you.
You can also use teleport to kite him by casting curse of exhaustion and teleport away and start running. How ever if there is no dimishing return on the rogue i recoment casting fear on him. Still by fake casting you can get fears out quite well. Also dot up the priest with UA when ever possible so he cant dispell your manadrains
Keep doing this untill priest starts to run low on mana, after hes around 20% mana make sure you have your howl of terror ready. After shadowfiend appers on you use howl of terror and cast UA on it, be prepared to refear it if first fear is dispelled If shadowfiend is used on your shaman whats unlikely due watershield just tell him to bring it to you. After priest is totaly oom dot boft up and kill one of them.
If they open on your shaman Just simply cast UA+fear on rogue and presure priest, After rogue is imune to fear switch presure to him and try to focus fear the priest when he comes to heal. Otherwise the same tactic as if they were sitting on the warlock. Personally i feel its easyer if they go for shaman since warlock is totaly free to cast then.
Aggressive: Presure the rogue and force him to use hes CLOS, after survival cds are gone dot up the rogue and get Hex or fear on the priest Kill the rogue. This is hard to pull off if lacking gear since you basicly have to tank the rogues damage instead of CCing him
This tactic can also be used between outlast if you see a place for it.
Fake cast fears Keep pet up Kite the rogue Rotate fears
Priest(Shadow) & Rogue This fight can be compared to Mage & rogue, only harder part here is you cant really "slowmo" kill the rogue due the priest can come out of shadowform and heal.
In start fear the rogue and silence the priests shadow tree [Keep curse of tounges up on the priest all time] Now fear the priest, Dot up the rogue and open huge presure on him Keep doing this untill rogue has used Clos and other defencive Cds. With the presure on rogue after this you will either force the priest to heal all time what reduces their damage and the game will be won either by priest running oom and rogue dieing after it or rogue being killed while priest in fear.
Rotate fears Dot boft targets Pet on rogue Silence Mindblasts Dispell fears if no tremor up
Priest(disc) & Warlock (Destruction) This is the easyest of the Destruction & healer setups from my POV The priest is really easy to OOM what scores easy kill
Stay near the pillars so you can LOS the warlock and dispell immolates if he manages to land them
Focus CC mainly on warlock Fears Silences Shocks
Try to Lock down the warlock so that he isnt really abel to do any thing, If you handle this well the only place where warlock can score a kill is if they get boft of you feared or cced otherwise. So make sure you dont stand next to eich other too much in the game.
Dots up on all targets again, when priest starts to reach 5-20% mana make sure you have howl of terror ready to fear the shadowfiend. If you can take the shadowfiend out of the game you will make the game alot faster. After priest is completly oom Go for kill
Overall there isnt any special tricks for this setup Stay Near Pillars Control the warlock Fear shadowfiend Keep dots up on 3 targets all time Keep Pet up Kill their Pet Oom the Priest And go for kill
Shaman(resto) & Rogue Personally for me this feels to be the hardest rogue healer fight out there, thank god its rare... Basicly you have to fear lock the shaman and kill the rogue while theres rogue sitting on you and shaman spamming tremors around like headless chicken.
But try pulling the rogue towards the shaman with dots on boft targets. If you get the shaman in range with your aoe fear use pet to destroy the totem and fear. Go for rogue and keep the shaman controlled with 2nd fear or hex. Shock and silence the cast heals.
You will need to do this atleast 2 times to burn out all the rogues cooldowns. After this you got chanes for kill on the rogue.
Also you can try going for shaman if he gets feared to the open, Here you will need your shamans support on dps how ever with a aggressive silence or deathcoil. But the best kill target here definatly is the rogue considering the amount of spell interrupts you have.
Shaman(resto)& Warlock(affli) This fight is almost pure manawar, so prepare for long long game. How ever you can also kill the shaman here if he feared out of LOS
Hex in this fight i recommend using on the shaman since the shaman can remove it from the Warlock, however if you team has good timing you can try fearing the shaman and hexing the warlock at the same time. Still doesn't make much of a difference to the over all fight. Best is to save hex for nuke, get Warlock on low health, and hex the Shaman. After this both focus the Warlock and kill him before Shaman is able to heal.
If the Shaman has instant heal ready you can use pets silence just before hex is about to end for the extra 3 seconds that might be needed to finnish off the Warlock.
In this fight the fight depends a lot on what side can build up more pressure, making the healer use their mana, not allowing them to drink and keeping dots up on all targets. Priority is to have Dots up on all targets all the time. this keeps their healer busy healing the team and not having much time to take a break and drink.
For CC you want to focus the enemy Warlock, use your pet silences, curse of tongues and fears on the Warlock mainly, this cuts out their damage and their crowd control. And the less crowd control from them the more time for you to deal damage and drain.
Also during the fight keep eyes on the enemy pets hp, if its going low you can try to pull it behind a pillar away from their healer and kill it.If you manage to kill the enemy pet 2 times your Shaman should stick on the warlock with your pet after this, not allowing him to cast long re-summon. While you stick on the Shaman. This mirror match is all about pressure, hurt more, drain more and crowd control more.
Also Keep eye on the shaman, if hes feared to the open do a switch on him and try to kill him with your shaman supporting with damage.
This fight ends either you killing enemy warlock or them running out of mana if played well
Overall there isnt any special tricks for this setup Keep dots up on 3 targets all time Keep Pet up Kill their Pet Oom the Shaman or Kill him
Shaman(resto) & Warlock(destruction) This fight should be remotly easy if you play it smart Stay near LOS, silence/shock the warlocks chaos bolts and dispell immolate
Keep dots up on all 3 targets, even tho the warlock has netherproctection any damage you can do is presure CC you want to focus on the warlock since the more you interrupt hes cast and dispells immolates you can almost totaly remove hes damage out but. Basicly only time he can get any nuke out if they get CC on boft of you and you cant stop the warlock. This is also the way you will loose this fight since the warlock can pretty much global down your shaman.
This again will turn out to be mana-war since your lossing the warlock and playing defencively. But again you can pull off a kill on the shaman if hes placed away from pillar when feared. Just going to have to use silence or deathcoil to do it.
If you want to try to kill the warlock you will first have to kill hes pet. Go for 3 fears + hex on shaman and switch your shocks and silences on him. This will be hard due nether proctection but it can be done. Also hugely recomented to have pet on passive here on shaman you will give them free mana and on warlock it gives chanes for instant incicrates.
Overall there isnt any special tricks for this setup Keep dots up on 3 targets all time Keep Pet up Keep Pet on passive Kill their Pet Oom the Shaman or Kill him CC the shaman and kill the warlock
Druid[Feral] & Rogue This fights fate is resting at the start opening. Long as you survive the start, what isnt easy you should manage it
Here the fight normaly starts them sapping you and opening on shaman. Why this way? Shaman is the easyer target to nuke down here since warlock can escape with teleport and has other defences.
Also here dont use trinket in sap, unless theres no other way for your shaman to survive. This is since if you use trinket in sap you will get instantly blinded by the rogue and after this the shaman is free game for them. After sap is over and if your shaman is still alive Cast fear on rogue. Here you will need to rotate fears in start to give them shaman some free time. You wont be going for long fears at start since the trinkets and possibly racials they have.
Heres how to start cc vs this setup
Fear Rogue -> Start casting fear on Druid Fear Druid -> Rogue uses trinket/racial -> Start casting fear on rogue
at this point the druid will most likely use Berserk to become imune to fear. This you counter with deathcoil, soon as fear has landed on rogue use your deathcoil.
Damage you want to focus on rogue here get him burn hes Cloak of shadows fast. Of course dot up the druid too but rogue should be your main focus. When Cloak of shadows is used switch all damage to druid keep the presure up. After they have ran out of cloak of shadows the druid will most likely switch into caster form and try to heal to heal the rogue. At this point you should have won the game.
Notice: This is hard fight specially in the start where one of you have to survive alone during the sap. Your shaman can use Trinket in kidney shot to get heals out before dieing. After this he will get blinded most likely and they switch for warlock.. Warlock how ever should be abel to survive / kite long enugh to the blind end
Quote: Hint: if for some reason afflicted dosent show berserk for you go and set it up, heres a simple guide. 1.Open afflicted menu 2. Open Spells 3. Add spell "name: Berserk" 4. Add Duration 15 sec, Add Cooldown 3 min 5. Enable screen warnings
Fear rotation in start is really important here Warlock Should not use trinket in sap Rotate fears -> Rogue -> Druid -> Rogue Use deathcoil on druid when Berserk is used Main focus of damage on rogue When CLOS is up Focus damage on druid Set up afflicted to show when berserk is used
